The Fertile Mind Postcast

The latest fertile mind podcast: Fed up with life?

Over the last few days I’ve been experiencing feelings and thoughts that I had on our fertility journey. The combination of being in constant pain that has kept me from sleeping, the pandemic putting life projects on hold and it been constantly raining for days has left me feeling fed up with life. I’ve been angry with life.

I am not saying my situation is anything like infertility, it’s just brought up a lot of thoughts and feelings about life that came up on our fertility journey.

The reminders I am getting now about myself and life are the very things that helped us on our fertility journey. So I thought I’d share them with you!

The ONE thing that unlocked our fertility success!

My wife and I had 10 years of infertility. We’ve seen infertility from every angle! Female, male, unexplained, explained, secondary infertility…

First, my wife had problems. After about 8 years of holistic and natural treatment, she got a healthy cycle for the first time in her life. After about a year of trying we knew something was up. No-one had suggested I got a test until that point so I got a test. It was disastrous across the board!

I then tried everything to improve my fertility. We were used to it by now. Doing everything we can to get what we most wanted in life. The thought of not having children was too painful to consider. This motivated me to try everything. Striving to get what we most wanted. I was taking a fistful of the largest pills you’ve ever seen each morning. I changed my lifestyle. I stopped keeping my phone in my pocket, I even changed to wearing baggy pants (underwear not trousers for you lovely Americans!).

So what’s the ONE thing I wish I knew on our journey? What’s the one thing I believe would have meant it would not have been a 10-year journey?

It is knowing how much our subtle but powerful thoughts and beliefs about ourself effect our ability to create what we want in our life and even impact our body. Our mind and bodies are not connected, they are one system.

The lowest point in our journey, getting my test result when we thought we were on the home straight sent me into a psychological tailspin. It triggered an inner journey I wasn’t expecting or planning. But it is that inner journey that was the difference that made the difference. It is the same with my clients.

Find out more in this short video about what specifically I learnt on my journey that unlocked things for us. So many of my clients have the same insights that unlocks their ability to conceive in their life, whether it’s the baby or the career they crave.
