Nikki Grahame plans to try IVF treatment in order to have a baby and will go ahead with her plan alone if she isn’t settled down by the time she hits 40.

The 37-year-old television personality has struggled with fertility as a result of her long battle with anorexia – which began when she was just six years old – and has said she’s now determined to be a mother and will try using IVF to conceive.

Nikki is currently single so “ideally” wants to meet the right man first, but will go it alone if she has to because she’s “independent”.

She said: “I’ve enquired at a few clinics in London. Ideally, I’d meet the right guy and we could go through the process together.

“I’m so independent. I think I’d be such a good mum because I know I’m capable when I put my mind to it.”

The ‘Big Brother’ star has joked she would even consider pal Duncan James – who is already father to daughter Tianie-Finn – to be her sperm donor if she decides to have a child as a single mother.

Speaking to new! magazine, she said: “Could you imagine?! How good would that be? I should send him a WhatsApp”.

Earlier this year, 41-year-old Duncan went public with his boyfriend Rodrigo Reis, and thanked his fans for their support ever since he came out as gay in 2012, after initially coming out as bisexual in 2009.

Confirming his new romance, the singer and former ‘Hollyoaks’ star wrote on social media: “I didn’t identify as a gay man for many years because of my own issues with coming out, but finally im happy in my skin & this guy next 2 me makes me proud 2 be gay. (sic)”
