We’ve just received this song from Camille Nelson a guitarist & violinist specializing in acoustic-driven folk music who has written a song for anyone trying to conceive.

It might be easier if we let Camille tell you why she wrote the song but we’d love to know what you think and of course, share some love with Camille and Madilyn.

Thank you for all the work you do to increase infertility awareness and to increase the chances of pregnancy. I’m a musician and have been surrounded by stories of friends and family members who have dealt with infertility.

I can’t even begin to imagine the heartache and difficulty of not being able to have children. I wrote a song called “Our Lullaby” as a song of hope that a mother would sing to her potential future child. I wanted to send it to you in hopes that you might share it to increase and instil the hope in others of the possibility of having children in the future. Please pass it along.

Our Lullaby is written by Camille Nelson and features the vocals of Madilyn Paige.

Written by Camille Nelson, Isabeau Miller and Shaun Balin

Our Lullaby

VERSE 1
I hear you,
in whispered heartbeats
steady, true.
you keep on
believing something you’ve never seen
I’ll believe in you, cause you believe in me.

CHORUS
You and I are the lullaby
You don’t have to cry
I’m here, I’m here.
Baby rockabye,
I’ll be your lullaby
Cause you’ve been mine
through every try and fallen tear
Lullaby…

VERSE 2
I feel you
And I’ve had faith
That I’d see you
If it would take
A million lifetimes to get me there
To where you are, so baby, don’t be scared…

CHORUS
You and I are the lullaby
You don’t have to cry
I’m here, I’m here.
Baby rockabye,
I’ll be your lullaby
Cause you’ve been mine
Through every try and fallen tear
Lullaby…

BRIDGE
So let my love come,
Carry you
Carry you, to me.
Let my love come,
Carry you,
Carry you home to me.

CHORUS
You and I are the lullaby
You don’t have to cry
I’m here, I’m here.
Baby rockabye,
I’ll be your lullaby
Cause you’ve been mine
Through every try and fallen tear
Lullaby…
