IVF Costs at Cayman Fertility Centre
The Cayman Fertility Centre offers a range of fertility treatments. The cost for an IVF cycle, which includes a day 3 fresh transfer is EUR 6,250 (USD 6,750). The ICSI procedure is priced at EUR 7,407 (USD 8,000). Additional treatments like Assisted Hatching and the Blastocyst Fee are each priced at $550, translating to around €508 for both services.
Preimplantation Genetic Testing is available at $3,060, or roughly €2,831. This price covers the analysis of up to four embryos, with any additional embryo tested at EUR 277 (USD 300) per embryo, which is payable to the third-party genetics laboratory conducting the analysis.
A Frozen Embryo Transfer cycle, which includes thawing, transfer, and assisted hatching, is listed at EUR 1,620 (USD 1,750). For egg donation, the cost varies depending on whether the donor is known or anonymous. The fee for a known donor ICSI cycle is EUR 8,796 (USD 9,500) and for an anonymous donor, the cost is EUR 9,953 (USD 10,750).
Their donor egg program primarily offers “anonymous” donation, meaning you won’t meet the donor. Instead, you’ll be provided with details about the donor’s characteristics to ensure a good match. Sometimes, a close friend or family member might volunteer to donate their eggs, known as a “known donor” situation. While they support the use of known donors, it is required that these donors undergo the same comprehensive medical testing and preliminary screening as anonymous donors to ensure your safety.
Patients looking to use frozen donor eggs can expect to pay $8,500, approximately €7,864, while an Egg Freezing Cycle is priced at $5,500 or about €5,088.
Regarding refunds, if no follicles develop prior to egg retrieval for IVF, the refund is $4,250 (€3,932) and for ICSI, it is $5,250 (€4,857). A cancelled cycle prior to egg collection incurs a fee of EUR 1,620 (USD 1,750). If no embryo transfer occurs, a refund of $750, or around €693, is provided.
Storage fees for embryos are $350 for the first year (approximately €324) and $675 per additional year (about €625). The same annual fee of $675 (€625) applies for the storage of eggs or sperm.
For sperm-related services, an Artificial Insemination (IUI) cycle costs $750 (€693), and sperm freezing is priced at $550 (€508).
It’s important for patients to note that these prices are subject to change and payments are due prior to each treatment cycle. The costs cover all medical consultations, egg retrieval, operating room, embryology fees, and monitoring ultrasounds during the IVF cycle. However, medication, pre-cycle blood tests, and counselor fees are not included in these prices.
