Fertility Road is an international fertility publication dedicated to helping individuals and couples make informed decisions about fertility treatment. Originally launched as a UK print magazine in 2010, it has evolved into a digital platform combining expert-led educational content, real patient experiences and practical resources for people exploring IVF and other fertility treatments.
Today, Fertility Road focuses on three essential areas of the patient journey:
- Fertility treatment education – Accessible guides covering IVF, ICSI, egg donation, embryo donation, egg freezing, genetic testing and treatment options for patients over 40.
- IVF abroad research – Country-specific information on fertility laws, treatment costs, success rates and clinic options across destinations including Spain, Greece, the Czech Republic, Portugal and North Cyprus.
- Real patient experiences – Personal fertility stories, interviews and documented IVF journeys that help readers understand the emotional and practical realities of treatment.
The platform also provides clinic comparison resources and an IVF cost calculator, helping patients evaluate treatment options according to their circumstances and budget.
Fertility Journeys – Supporting Patients
One of Fertility Road’s most distinctive initiatives is the Fertility Journeys Project, launched in 2014.
Developed in collaboration with fertility clinics, the programme provides selected patients with access to funded IVF treatment while documenting their experiences, from diagnosis and treatment decisions to outcomes and life after treatment.
Since its launch, 32 free IVF cycles have been provided through participating fertility clinics.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of infertility, reduce financial barriers to treatment and share authentic patient experiences, including the challenges, uncertainties and successes encountered along the way.
