About Ventus IVF Centre
Ventus IVF Centre is a private fertility clinic based in Nicosia, North Cyprus, established in March 2024. Although recently opened, the medical team brings solid clinical experience, having completed 192 treatment cycles during 2024 alone. These included 110 egg donation cycles and 82 IVF cycles using patients’ own eggs. This early activity reflects the clinic’s active role in supporting both local and international patients on their path to parenthood.
The clinic treats single women and accepts patients up to 55 years of age, for both own-egg and donor-egg treatments. There are no marital status restrictions, and female same-sex couples are welcomed, including those pursuing the ROPA method. Treatment is also available for patients living with HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C, provided their viral load is undetectable.
Advanced embryo testing options, such as PGT-A genetic screening, are offered as part of personalised treatment planning and may also be used for family balancing when appropriate. To ensure accessibility for international patients, consultations are available both online and in person.
Ventus IVF Centre is the first IVF clinic in Cyprus to receive accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP). It is also the first and currently the only clinic in the country with a VOC-free laboratory environment.
In an IVF laboratory, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are invisible chemical substances that can be released into the air from everyday materials such as paints, cleaning products, plastics, adhesives, or building materials. Even very small amounts can affect the sensitive environment in which eggs, sperm, and embryos are handled.
A VOC-free laboratory is designed to keep the air as clean and stable as possible for your embryos. Materials used in the lab are carefully selected, and advanced air filtration systems remove chemical substances that could affect the delicate environment where eggs, sperm, and embryos are handled. For you as a patient, this means your embryos develop in a highly controlled and protected laboratory environment, helping to provide the best possible conditions during the earliest stages of life.
The clinic offers full accessibility for patients with mobility needs and provides a free car park on site. The interior is finished to a premium standard, creating a modern, calm, and comfortable environment throughout your visit. The clinic includes:
- 1 fully equipped laboratory
- 1 operating theatre
- 5 recovery rooms for patients after procedures
Every detail is designed to ensure a safe and comfortable treatment experience.

Experience and Medical Team at Ventus IVF Centre
At Ventus IVF Centre, your treatment is led by an experienced and dedicated medical team.

Assoc. Prof. Dr Beril Yuksel is the Medical Director of the clinic. She trained at Hacettepe University, one of Turkey’s top medical schools, and completed her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at a highly respected women’s health hospital in Ankara.
She has international experience, including research work in robotic surgery in the United States, and has published nearly 100 scientific papers. Her main areas of expertise include IVF treatment, reproductive hormones, genetic embryo testing (PGT), and the use of modern technologies in reproductive medicine.
Most importantly, Dr Yuksel works closely with patients every day. She speaks fluent English and Turkish and focuses on creating personalised treatment plans tailored to each individual.

The embryology laboratory is led by highly experienced specialists: Zafer Atayurt, Embryology Laboratory Director, has 22 years of experience. He speaks English and Turkish.

Dr Münevver Serdaroğulları, Scientific Director and Embryologist, has 15 years of experience and speaks English and Turkish. Together, the medical and laboratory teams work hand in hand to support you at every step of your fertility journey.
Patients at Ventus IVF Centre are supported by an international patient care team that helps guide them through every step of the treatment process. Patient coordinators provide assistance in several languages to ensure clear communication and comfortable support throughout the journey.

Patients can contact the clinic easily by email or WhatsApp, and the team aims to reply as soon as possible, always within 24 hours. Before the first consultation with a doctor, patients are asked to complete a short online form, which is provided via a secure link.
Each patient is assigned a dedicated patient coordinator who remains their main point of contact throughout the treatment process, helping with medical information, travel planning, and any practical questions.
For general enquiries before a coordinator is assigned, patients can contact Fatma Yaman, Head of the International Team and Business Development Coordinator. She supports English-speaking patients and helps organise the first steps of communication with the clinic. Once a patient coordinator is assigned, they provide ongoing support and are also available for urgent matters. The clinic offers emergency contact for patients, ensuring assistance whenever it is needed.

Egg and Sperm Donors at Ventus IVF Centre
At Ventus IVF Centre, egg donors are carefully matched to each patient based on the patient’s preferences and physical characteristics. Donors remain anonymous, but patients receive information about identifying physical features such as hair colour, eye colour, height, and other basic characteristics to help ensure a suitable match.
Sperm samples used at the clinic come from well-established sperm banks in Denmark. Patients are provided with donor profiles, which include non-identifying information about the donor, helping them make an informed and comfortable choice.

The clinic also uses modern laboratory technologies to support treatment outcomes. IVF Success Rates at Ventus IVF Centre
At Ventus IVF Centre, pregnancy rates are measured per single embryo transfer (not cumulative over multiple attempts).
In 2024, the overall clinical pregnancy rate for egg donation was 72.3% per embryo transfer.
- Using fresh donor eggs, the success rate was 74.5%.
- Using frozen donor eggs, the success rate was 70%.
For IVF with your own eggs, pregnancy rates per embryo transfer were:
- 76.5% for women under 35
- 62.5% for women aged 35–40
- 50% for women over 40
The pregnancy rate for frozen embryo transfer (FET) was 71.1%, and for embryo donation it reached 80% per transfer.
The clinic prefers Day 5 blastocyst transfer, as this stage often allows for better embryo selection. On average, 1.4 embryos were transferred per procedure in 2024. The multiple pregnancy rate was 14.3%, and all multiple pregnancies were twins.
These results reflect one embryo transfer attempt and provide a realistic picture of treatment outcomes for patients considering care at the clinic.
